They were admitted to the hospital complaining of stomach pain with cramps, where their treatment is going on. All the members of the family had eaten Puttu ki Sabzi at night. This Puttu was brought from Baloda weekly market a day before. Probably their health deteriorated due to eating stale Puttu.

Harishchandra’s family lives in Hardi Bazaar, about 30 km from the district headquarters. All the members of his family sat together and had dinner. After this, they went to their respective rooms and slept. At around three in the night, the health of the family members suddenly deteriorated. They started having stomach pain along with cramps. They started feeling restless and nervous. This complaint came from five members of the family one after the other.

On getting the information, with the help of the people around, Mukesh Kumar Miri, Sangeeta Bai Miri, Premlata Miri, Champa Bai Miri and one other were admitted to the Primary Health Center for treatment, where the posted doctor Yudhesh Sande started treatment with his team. With their continuous treatment, the condition of the patients improved. When the victim Mukesh Miri was talked to, it was found that he had bought Suamundi Putu from Baloda weekly market. Half of the Putu was cooked as a vegetable at home, while the remaining Putu was kept in the refrigerator. Their health deteriorated due to eating this. However, the condition of the patients is said to be out of danger.

Be careful while eating puttu
Assistant Medical Officer of Primary Health Center Yudhesh Sande appealed to the common people and said that during rainy season, wild putu come out of the ground. Most of these putu are not edible. If you eat putu, it should not be stale. Be careful about this. Apart from this, pay special attention to cleanliness.
